Virtual Therapy
Pets welcomed, sweatpants encouraged.
What does it look like to do therapy online, from home? Picture this…
You’re in your favorite comfy pants, surrounded by the fuzziest of blankets, possibly accompanied by your pet or other form of support. You’ve got emergency snacks available at all times and if you’re a crying mess, you don’t have to face the world until you’re ready. I come to you (virtually) in your own space, with all of your comforting things.
This is the beauty of virtual therapy. You get to heal on your terms, in your most comfortable environment while getting all the same benefits that come from seeing a licensed therapist.
Commute-free couch sessions: Bad weather? No biggie. Rush hour traffic? Not a problem. Your new commute is now just a short stroll to your couch, or bed, or fort, or adult beanbag. All you need are some headphones, a private space, laptop or tablet and you’re ready to go.
Get your comfort on: You can rock those pajamas while getting your therapy game on with little regard for what you’ve got going on with your hair or your outfit. It’s a come as you are platform that encourages you to come with a focus on comfort, not aesthetic. The healing process isn’t always pretty and we embrace that here.
Fur, feathered, or scaly assistants welcomed: I love when fury, feathery, or scaly babies make cameos during the session. Often our pets provide a deep sense of comfort and with virtual therapy, they can be right by your side for as long as you need.
